If my dog beach looked like this my dog would look like that instead of the blob that she is.

Seth's View

For his birthday I got Seth an iPod touch.  An all in one music player, game player, camera, video camera, movie watcher and more.  I wasn't sure at first, but not only does the price easily lower than buying all these types of things for him, it takes up WAY less space.  He is also taking excellent care of it, and puts it up high whenever he is not using it.  On to the pics below.  These are all pictures he has taken with it.  It actually is a way better resolution camera than the kid one he used to have.  It also has the camera on the front and the back, so his self portrait studies are numerous and hilarious.  Alas I can't post them all, so here is a taste.  I'm breaking this into two posts, so more pics to come.

Happenings at the CSULB Library

Lest we forget that I spend a significant amount of time each week working my "real" job, here are some pics from the library over the last few weeks.  First off some interesting art has been displayed.  The first I didn't get a picture of, but my friend Jospeh did here.  Yes that is a giant Starbucks cup made out of used Starbucks cups.  I hate to know how many days it took the artist to collect cups, I fear too few.  This was only on display for about 30 minutes one lunch time.  Bummer, because I knew lots of people who wanted to  erm, knock it down.

Other art, apparently a pile of left over projects from an intro sculpting class.  This one has been around for a week or two now:
Another day I got to attend the opening of a week long Chinese Film and Culture Festival and see this Face-Changing performance.  It was very cool.  If you would like to see what it was like, check out this YouTube video.

A rainy day:

Then last week was the Great Shakeout, and here is another great picture by Joseph, of the library evacuation.

So while mostly I am at my desk, the reference desk, or teaching classes.  There are a few amusements at work.

Disneyland!

A final DLand trip before Jeff's pass expired.  Produced probably the best video ever, check out the YouTube channel on the right.
