Finally ... Dinos!

When Seth was a baby, we went to the Natural History Museum in LA.  They had closed the dino hall, and the sign said it would open in 2011, I couldn't believe it and remember thinking that's when Seth will be going to Kindergarten!  Well here we are and here it is.  Finally open, we actually went twice the first week it was open and still haven't seen it all.  I'm sure we will go again many times, but here are some pics of their first glimpses of the big dinos.

Kitty

Introducing Pouncer!  We picked up this little girl at the SPCALA on July 6.  The kids love her, I love her, she is great.  

Instrument Zoo

The El Dorado branch of LBPL had an event called the instrument zoo, where LBSO volunteers brought a collection of instruments and let the kids try them all out.  Davis wasn't satisfied until he tried. every. one.  Bothe A and D gravitated straight away to the French Horn, which is interesting since their Great Grandfather played one for a living.  In the end I peg Audrey for the wind and Davis for a large string though.  Time will tell.  Seth definitely will be in percussion. :)
