Where are we now?

I haven't been updating lately, but I thought I'd let you all know what life is like today, 11-2-12, at home.
Our new french doors in the back.  Beautiful.

Looking in.

Back of the house, wrapped and ready for stucco.

Our house within a house.  The new construction to the left, the old half of a chimney to the right.

Down the side, inside the new, outside of the old.

From here one will be able to see the inside of my front door.  Eventually.

The pole, still there.  With some added ceiling holes.

Bathroom, window gone, holes in the wall and ceiling paint peeled.

Kids room, old window moved new window in.

Other window in their room, plus that piece of plywood to the left covering a large hole.

Office.  Had to remove the interior wall after engineering inspection.

Office ceiling holes.

Our room.  New window and closet doors.

New window, hole to the right where wiring goes to and from the new electrical panel on the outside.

Another interior wall removed after inspection.

My skylight.  No, not intentional.

Kitchen ceiling.  Light has been hanging like that for months.  Jeff assures me it wont fall on my head.  Hasn't yet!

Can't really see from the picture, but this window has no glass.  That was ok for the last few months, but I think we're going to have to cover it up soon.

Ta Da!  The only untouched (even improved!) room.  New smaller window and new tile.

Front porch, wrapped and ready.

New front walk, getting there.

The view from the sidewalk.

The view from across the street.  You can see the roof! Yay for roofs!
