The Biggest Tree in the World

No really!  We went to Sequoia National Park for a 4 day vacation after Christmas.  The last time we went there was nine feet of snow on the ground.  This time there was much less (hardly any) but we had fun anyways!  Here is our first sojourn, to the biggest tree in the world.

At the lodge

First of many posts of our recent trip to Sequoia National Park.  We had a great time, although there was not much snow.  Beautiful weather anyway!

Snow part 2

What I didn't mention previously is that our friends also brought Pinky up for us in their car.  Pinky LOVED the snow.  I didn't really think she would, but she just got down in there and nosed through it and had a great time.

Snow part 1

We had the good fortune to go stay with our friends Phil and Christa in their family cabin in Big Bear.  While there was not a lot of snow left on the ground, there was still the fabulous Big Bear Snow Play, which I highly recommend.  You'll see the moving sidewalk below that allows hours of sledding with no physical strain!

This sign cracked me up.
