Japanese Gardens
Last Tuesday we dropped Seth off at school, and went to the Japanese Gardens on campus at CSULB. This is actually where Jeff and I got married, and its a wonderful little place to take the kids. They can feed the fish and cross bridges. There are a couple of waterfalls, and this time of year, lots of flowers.
Nature in LB
Last weekend we went to the Nature Center with my parents. This is one of my favorite places in Long Beach, and we should go more often I always say. Its our own bit of nature, just a mile or so from our house. They are currently renovating, so its a little confusing to get around, but we will be back soon to see the final transformation. The kids love it, run around with huge smiles, picking up sticks and pointing out spiders. One time we actually saw a racoon at the edge of the stream, and watched it for some time. This trip was the first one we have taken without the stroller. They are growing up! They also love the little museum, which is all hands-on. (Much better than hands-off.)

Gnome Hat
One of my more creative friends made Seth a gnome hat for his birthday. She wanted to see pictures, so Seth put on this fashion show for me. In the first few you may notice a green lump under the hat. That is Gumby, who really wanted to be on Seth's head at this moment.
Our Room
My house is now crib-free believe it or not. These are pictures of the kids bedroom. Right now we have all three of their beds in the same room. There is a bunk bed where Seth sleeps on top and Audrey on the bottom, and Davis has an IKEA loft that I set up a little play area underneath. (You may notice that the bunk is occupied...)

Disney Birthday
For my birthday this year I got to go not once but twice to Disneyland, just Jeff and I. See if you can identify the Disney places below. (With no kids around to take pictures of, I guess I just take pictures of stuff.)

Bubble Fizz Boom
The five of us took a Parks and Rec class called Bubble Fizz Boom. Each week there were 3-4 activites usually messy, but always fun. See our volcanoes and finger painting below.
